Burger King advertises for paid ads, obituary

ADVERTISE

This ad features a man named “Bud,” who appears to be a Burger King employee.

Bud appears to hold a gun and is talking to someone else.

Bud has a voiceover saying, “This is what I like to do.

This is my job.”

The ad ends with Bud saying, ‘I’m so happy you’re here.

Happy to have you.’

This ad has been viewed more than 50 million times on YouTube.

The ad has more than 8.6 million views on Facebook.

Bud’s family has not responded to NBC News’ request for comment.

The advertising giant has previously denied any wrongdoing in Bud’s case.

But Bud’s mother, who is in her 70s, said her son had an illness and died of pneumonia on Oct. 2, 2016.

She said she did not know about the ad until this week.

Bud was an employee of the chain until October 2016, according to the restaurant chain.

It is unclear if Bud’s wife had worked there before.

Bud and his wife, Michelle, were married for nearly 20 years.

He had been employed at the chain since 2010, and Michelle had been there since 2007, according a statement from the restaurant.

The couple had two children.

Bud, who was a father of two, had been working at Burger King for about five years.

Michelle had worked at the restaurant for about three years.

The chain did not immediately respond to a request for additional comment.
